Looking back on Pearl Harbor: 70th Anniversary

On this day 70 years ago, one of our most important naval bases in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii was targeted in a surprise attack by the Japanese Imperial Navy. 2,402 Americans would be killed and 1,282 wounded. This would eventually bring the U.S. into WWII (World War Two). At 7:55 a.m Hawaii time, 120 survivors of this attack joined their comrades in a moment of silence in memory of this tragic event. To get a better idea of what really went down, check out: CBS News' video of the attack.

On a final note, God Bless America
